Keiko to star as Isabella in The Promised Neverland Live Action!

Keiko Kitagawa as "Mom" Isabella and Naomi Watanabe as Sister Krone

Keiko Kitagawa has been cast as "Mom" Isabella in the live action movie adaption of The Promised Neverland.

The Promised Neverland takes place at an orphanage called Grace Field House in the year 2045. Emma and Norman along with 35 other orphans are well taken care of and lovingly raised by "Mom" Isabella. One night Emma and Norman accidentally discover the truth that they live in a demon dominated world and "Mom" has been working for the demons the whole time, raising them to ultimately be slaughtered for demon food.

Although the characters Emma, Norman and Ray are 12 in the manga/anime, they and the other orphans have been slightly aged up for the film.

It was announced last week that Keiko will be starring in the upcoming October 2013 horror movie Roommate based on the novel of the same name by Aya Imamura. She co-stars with Kyoko Fukada.
