Roommate
It was announced last week that Keiko will be starring in the upcoming October 2013 horror movie Roommate based on the novel of the same name by Aya Imamura. She co-stars with Kyoko Fukada.

How Jill got his name
Keiko's cat Jill is a 6 year old male Maine Coon. On Facebook Keiko explained how he got the name. Walking home in elementary school she would pass by a house that had a Siberian Husky dog named Jill. After she graduated elementary school Jill the dog passed away. Keiko decided if she were ever to get a pet she would name it Jill, hence Jill the cat.

Akumu-chan - Nightmare Kid

Akumu-chan is a Japanese series starring Keiko Kitagawa as Mutoi Ayami. The series originally ran from October 13, 2012- December 22, 2012 with a total of 11 episodes.
Mutoi Ayami is a beautiful and intelligent teacher who is popular with both her students and colleagues alike. However, she has a darker side- she does not genuinely feel for others nor does she believe in love or trust. One day, however, Koto Yuiko, a girl whose dreams are able to predict terrible events of the future, transfers into Ayami's class after dreaming that Ayami is a savior of the world. Ayami reluctantly gets dragged into helping Yuiko change the terrible fate of the people around them, and learns about her own past she had repressed.
Also starring in this series is GACKT as Shiki Takashi/Yumeoji (Dream Prince), 和田正人 Wada Masato as Mineki Yamasato, Yuka as school nurse Hirashima Kotoha, Kohinata Fumiyo as Bannosuke Koto and child star Kimura Manatsu as Koto Yuiko.
Personally I was pretty amused with the subtle references to Keiko's other shows Sailor Moon and Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de

Keiko in FF3 Tokyo Drift
In 2005 Universal Studios flew Keiko to Los Angeles from Japan first class to be in the Hollywood movie Fast & Furious 3: Tokyo Drift
Throughout the movie Keiko is only seen a handful of times standing in
the background with maybe 2 lines. Unfortunately most of Keiko's scenes
were deleted.

10 year anniversary photobook
This September marks the 10th year since Keiko Kitagawa's debut back in 2003. To mark the anniversary she will be coming out with a photo book set to be released on her birthday 8/22.
Recently Keiko went to Paris for some of the photo shoot.

Facebook Fraud
There have been many Keiko frauds on Facebook for a while, despite her official site stating they are not Keiko. However last month Keiko (finally) opened the official Keiko Kitagawa Facebook page which to date already has over 6,000 Likes. It seems that Keiko and her staff have noticed the fake Facebook pages though and are troubled about it.
I myself am guilty of liking a fake page but as soon as the official opened I un-liked it. I would rather support the REAL Keiko as opposed to a fake (but at the same time I'm a Keiko addict so I need to like a Keiko page, even if Keiko's no longer on Facebook and it's not an official page) I highly suggest anyone else liking the fraud pages un-like them and support the real Keiko here.
Without an official Keiko Kitagawa page frauds will continue on facebook. I recommend Keiko fans on Facebook to try and convey that to Keiko and her staff. I think we would all rather support her than a fake.

New movie Dekimashita 2014!
It's been announced Keiko will be playing the lead in the 2014 movie できました Dekimashita!
The movie is about a woman named Tsukasa-san who after a traffic accident suffers memory loss and left-side paralysis. Despite becoming wheelchair bound, she still maintains a positive attitude.
Filming will begin in Abashiri.

Keiko's new official site!
In November Keiko's blog was removed. A message was put up thanking fans for their support, and that a new official website was under construction set to open in January. Finally the new site has opened!
